The ENTTEC Octo makes life easy for quick installation

I've used the ENTTEC octo in a few projects now and I have to say it's a winner. The two outputs allowed me to double-up my pixel tape to make it brighter than anything else I can buy on the market. It plays nicely even with cheap power supplies (which I once used in a pinch).

Ein gut durchdachter Controller A well thought out controller

Der Octo lässt fast keine Wünsche mehr offen, 1024 Pixels/LEDs mit 46 FPS in einem kleinen Formfaktor, auf der Hutschiene montierbar und mit einem integriertem Netzwerkswitch um mehrere in einer Reihe zu versorgen oder erweitern.
Die Klemmen hinten sind zum stecken und austauschbar falls der Octo schnell demontiert oder die Klemmleiste kaputt gehen sollte.

Was nach mir noch interessant zu wissen ist
- Im "Standalone Mode" kann der weiße Kanal nicht angesteuert werden. z.B. bei SK6812 (RGBW)
- Es können nicht z.B. die 1024 RGBW Pixels/LEDs an einem einzigen Ausgang angesteuert werden, er besitzt zwei Ausgänge die jeweils max. 512 können.
- Ein/Das Update muss von der Herstellerwebseite selbst heruntergeladen und danach in der Weboberfläche ausgewählt werden.

The Octo leaves almost nothing to be desired, 1024 pixels/LEDs with 46 FPS in a small form factor, can be mounted on the top hat rail and with an integrated network switch to supply or expand several in a row. The terminals at the back are pluggable and replaceable if the Octo is quickly dismantled or the terminal strip breaks. What I think is still interesting to know is that the white channel cannot be controlled in “standalone mode”. e.g. with SK6812 (RGBW) - For example, the 1024 RGBW pixels/LEDs cannot be controlled at a single output, it has two outputs that can each handle a maximum of 512. - An update must be downloaded from the manufacturer's website and then selected in the web interface.

Mehr Pixel für weniger Geld gibts nur auf AliExpress und wer glaubt damit dann ein annähernd brauchbares Produkt zu haben hat sich ziemlich getäuscht.
Der neue Octo von Enttec bringt die meisten Pixel zum geringsten Preis in bester Qualität!

You can only get more pixels for less money on AliExpress and anyone who thinks they have an even usable product is quite mistaken. The new Octo from Enttec brings the most pixels at the lowest price in the best quality!
