ESP LTD TL-6N

One of the things that first attracted me to the guitar was its good looks. Now that I have been using it for a week I also like its feel and the slightly wider neck the way I like it when I play nylon strings but that?s a personal preference. The finishing is first class with a beautiful lacquered finish. The guitar is bit heavy for what I expected but nothing major. It has a good gain and sustain. All in all, the ESP LTD TL-6N is an excellent guitar with a classic and clear sound.

Top Quality Pro Gigging Guitar
BB Express 24.07.2022
I required a good quality professional gigging thin line nylon string guitar. Recently I had been impressed by a used ESP Ltd single cut EMG loaded EC401 Korean chambered light weight guitar that was love at first sight and I purchased it there and then.

Based on that experience I ordered this TL6 Nylon from Thomann. Delivery was swift and perfect. It is well made and perfectly set up. It is the lowest action nylon string guitar that I have tested, owned and gigged with. One immidiately gets the feeling of playing a Professional high quality guitar. You get a lot for your money. Well done ESP for design and production! Although it is chambered semi acoustic it does weigh 3.4 kgs a bit lighter than a Strat. It is a well balanced for standing or seated playing. TL6 Nylon is a long like a baritone guitar but no problem.

As for hard case and gig bag, I did not want the ESP hardcase. After a lot of research, I found Delux Bass Protection Racket stiff shell giggbag a perfect match. It provides all that a touring flight case does with the added ease of a gigg bag. Absolute protection for any situation.

Thank you Thomann for this high quality guitar. Your price is excellent as this guitar in UK costs considerably more and only available to order subject to long wait. 5 stars for Thomann 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂👏❤

Great guitar, just difficult to make all the strings sound at the same level, but with a compressor helps a lot!

P
a let down
Philisac 20.08.2023
The guitar comes in with shitty oxydised strings, D string pushing on the varnished head wood due to the appalling wounding. The 9V battery is missing. Small things but ... disappointing from the start, for the price.
Heavy is the first feeling when holding it. Although semi hollow (no inside tag showing manufacting place etc), it feels like a standard strat.
OK, plugged into a new NUX AC-80, the sound is good. The tuner is really poor but all strings sound the same level. Some enjoyment finally comes, just in time because I was about to pack it back and send it to Thomann. Still, I regret not going to some serious shop and trying the one I really want: Godin ACS, 3 times more expensive but ... I ll go for it some day.
It is still not sure I am not sending this back. Even the looks are a let down with some wood strains discontinuous, not even a shitty red hill had this issue when I bought it some years ago.
Major disappointment, not worth the wait. NOT HAPPY.
