Bridging the gap between 1-ply and 2-ply. A great head!

I use this on my 12" snare drum. Fantastic tone and bite, with great durability and control. The best of both worlds, with characteristics from both 1-ply and 2-ply heads. The coating adds a lovely warmth underneath that attack. A great purchase, for sure!

Wer einen warmen und runden Sound sucht, wird hier fündig

Für mein neu erworbenes Gretsch Catalina Club Kit habe ich für Snare und Toms die Evans G12 Felle gekauft.
Sonst hatte ich auf meinen Toms immer zweilagige Felle. Mit dem Sound war ich aber nie ganz zufrieden. Mit den G12 bekomme ich genau den Sound den ich gesucht habe. Mit einlagigen Fellen in "normaler" Stärke als Reso bei den Toms bekomme ich einen warmen Sound, der durch das dünnere Resofell aber noch genug Höhen bekommt. Das rundet den Gesamteindruck ab.

Evans un nome una garanzia

Sono passato dalle g2 sabbiate alle g12, il set ha un suono molto più "chiaro" mettono in risalto bene le alte frequenze, ottime per qualsiasi genere.
Io le ho montate su una gretsch con cui suono prettamente rock e su una tama club jam che uso per situazioni più acustiche.
Suonano molto bene

Iets betere focus op middentonen dan de Evans G1

Dit is een goed vel in combinatie met de Evans Genera resonant op toms, je krijgt dan een heerlijke focus op de middentonen en maakt verdere demping overbodig, de toms zingen wel,dus de toon is voldoende open maar de hoogste frequenties zijn nagenoeg verdwenen.
Het vel is ook iets sterker en makkelijker te stemmen.
