For me, this head was offered by my friend, as the best resonant head and I can say it is true. I used tried few different resonant heads and these are the best. It's easy to tune, quality is great and you can use them with different tom head tops.

I really like Evans heads, but have never used these before. Used in conjunction with Evans E2 clear batter heads, giving a slightly controlled no ringing effect. Great quality and easy to tune up. Fit the rims with no issues. Also fitted to my 12" Tom on a smaller kit.

These heads have a strong and urgent tone and can ring like a bell when you have your toms tuned to their fundamental pitch - they can be overly resonant and have a bell like attack that cuts through a mix well

utilisation:
peau de resonance tom basse 14"x14" sonor s classix
pour tout style de musique ( jazz/funk rock progressif , blues et autres...)

avantages:
je recherchais une peau de timbre sensible , qui n?étouffe pas le son et laisse vivre le fut, mais qui en même temps révèle bien toutes sa note de manière fidèle, avec un ton chaud et une bonne projection, j'en ai essayer quelques unes (remo et evans) celle ci me comble enfin ;)

inconvénients:
aucun, pour moi ce sont les peaux de resonance parfaites, les fûts vive tout en dégageant une belle note, parfais ;)
(elles habillent désormais tous mes fûts :) )
