i bought this guitar after watching some reviews on YT , first up i was going to go for the army green one ( and will still prob get that one ) but the wife intervened and said that looks cool , and seen as i have a lot of guitars i got this . anyhow seems i got lucky with the finish as mine came all even unlike the one in the picture. i now totally feel sorry for all my other guitars as when it comes down to it nothing plays like this does , the neck is so comfy its unreal .
sound wise , sounds great, you aint gona get those single coil neck tones like from a strat (there are some upgrades you can do) , for rock hard rock even blues stuff you cant go wrong . if you are looking at this you are thinking about it so just buy the thing .

Amazing guitar!

Evh is amazing. The feel is very good. The neck very comfortable. The guitar looks amazing.
I added the d-tuna. In a couple of minutes it was adjusted and it's amazing. I really suggest this feature.
The bridge is stable and holds tune very well.
The pickups are good for clean, dirty and distorted. This guitar can be used for a lot of genres.

Cet instrument est étonnant.
On retrouve le confort de jeu et de touché du manche de sa grande sœur " Frankie Striped Relic", le vibrato floyd est d'une gamme légèrement inférieure à celui de sa grande sœur mais reste bien mieux que celui d'une stratocaster modern player qui pourtant se situe dans la même gamme de prix. Le corps se positionne bien rendant son utilisation confortable.
Le son est bluffant : c'est puissant et précis, on entend toutes les notes même avec une bonne saturation. Elle permet d'avoir un gros son typé Van Halen mais pas que : elle sonne également très bien pour du ZZ Top ou du AC/DC par exemple y compris avec des mini amplis type Amplug quand on veut jouer au casque le soir.
Je dirais qu'elle n'a rien à envier en terme de son et de plaisir de jeu à une Les paul (je possède une studio et une custom que j'adore) qui coute entre deux et trois fois plus cher.
En ce qui me concerne et pour l'usage que j'en fait, je suis enchanté de cet achat ( et en plus elle est belle :-) )

This instrument is amazing. We find the comfort of play and touch of the neck of its big sister "Frankie Striped Relic", the Floyd vibrato is of a slightly lower range than that of its big sister but remains much better than that of a modern player stratocaster which yet is in the same price range. The body is positioned well making it comfortable to use. The sound is stunning: it's powerful and precise, you can hear all the notes even with good saturation. It allows you to have a big Van Halen sound but not only that: it also sounds very good for ZZ Top or AC/DC for example, including with Amplug type mini amps when you want to play with headphones in the evening. I would say that it has nothing to envy in terms of sound and playing pleasure from a Les Paul (I have a studio and a custom that I love) which costs between two and three times as much. As far as I am concerned and for the use I make of it, I am delighted with this purchase (and what's more, it is beautiful :-))

Vlastním jako hlavní nástroj Schecter Tempest Midway z Aviation série, která je díky rozpínání humbuckerů na singly variabilnější, ale EVH Wolfgang je nástroj vysloveně do nářezu. Vřele doporučuji koupi, velká spokojenost!
