Amazing guitar
pepegleznovoa 07.06.2021
I have always loved the sound of jazzmasters. They are highly versatile and able to provide very different tones. I have owned two jazzmaster previously, but the new American Pro II is the top one; no doubt about it. This guitar has surprised me a lot, because it includes many new features that make it even more versatil than previous models. It has become my favorite guitar (the other members of my band also love it as much as I do).

Nice looks, nice guitar but comes with flaws
Philliewillie 23.10.2024
Lookwise this guitar is amasing! Very nice finish, i think Jazzmasters in sunburst-finish are one of the greatest looking guitars out there. However the dots on the fretboard look kinda cheap to me? They’re not al perfect circles and the ‘white dots’ look just painted.. i’m not sure about them anyway. Apart from that, the rosewood is very beautifull. I had to resend one guitar, the first one could’n stay in tune for more then 3 minutes and the string allignment was terrible. At this price range, i think that is absolutely terrible. Luckily, the second guitar did not dissapoint. I like the modern feature of changing things up with the rythm-circuit and choosing for making the pick-ups act like a wide range humbucker, i own a Jaguar and never use the classic rythm circuit anyway (who does?). So this gives some extra options wich is very nice, it doesn’t sound too great right now but i think that’s more of a pick-up problem. Speaking of wich, i’m not a big fan of the pick ups (luckily it has the push-push). I mostly play the guitar now in middle position with the push-push activated. It sounds great then, also the bridge with a bit of distortion sounds good. But they miss hard imo with the neck position pick-up.. it’s just sounds too damn hot, there is no clean clarity anymore and it sounds dull to my ears. Like a cheap p-90 almost, but even p-90’s have more clarity. It might just be me being used to the sound of Jaguars and Tele’s but that neck pick-up probably will go. So to me, the guitar is all in all build great and an absolute looker but i think lot’s of people hoping for a classic sounding Jazzmaster will be overall dissapointed. Or, you’ll need to want to swap out the pick ups like i mostlikely will do.

Dream guitar
Bodymaster 06.07.2022
This is my first high end guitar. I've always wanted a Jazzmaster, but they had always been out of my price range. This guitar did not disappoint.

It plays flawlessly, required no set up on arrival, and sounds wonderful. I couldn't be happier with it and I'll keep it to my dying day.

As this was my first Jazzmaster it took me a while to get a hang of the two -circuit system, but once I did a world of possibilities opened up. A very versatile guitar which is a pleasure to play no matter what that may be, I can understand why they are considered classics.

Jazzmaster moderne presque parfaite
Batcat 13.02.2024
