I had previous experience with the Player neck on a Jazzmaster. It was simply doing its job, very comfortable, no tuning issues, no fret buzz. Only drawback was its single action truss rod, with 009 strings the action was pretty much spot on without tensing it, but one can't get more neck relief if they want to.

The new Tele neck feels and behaves exactly the same, same action and relief at the same setup, when using the same strings, which impresses me by the consistency this series demonstrates!

The other issue I had with this neck is that it's drilled just for Fender's own modern tuners, and I could not use a third party brand. Not impossible to do but messy.

All in all, even if describing these minuses is the largest part of my review, this neck is great and I would not change it. It just works and feels home, no comment :)

Very beautiful guitar neck. I haven't fitted it just yet, waiting for the correct tele body to become available. Was going to add it to existing guitar but I think it's too nice for that.

Insgesamt betrachtet ein super Produkt, sauber angerichtete Bünde, super Spielgefühl. Abzüge gibt es jedoch für den vorinstallierten Sattel, welcher einfach unspielbar hoch ist und von mir gleich gegen einen flacheren und hochwertigeren ausgetauscht wurde. Klar es gibt keine rolled edges und der Hals ist eher kräftig als ein 'modern C' aber ich erwarte A dieses Halsformat für eine Tele und der Hals ist nach meiner Nachbearbeitung super bespielbar, passt sauber in meinen Tele-Korpus. Daumen hoch! (Wenn jemand nicht selbst Hand an die Feinjustierung von Sätteln, Trussrod, Bünden etc legt würde ich einen Halswechsel eh an einen Fachmann deligieren, der würde auch sagten Top Hals!)

Il manico ha un profilo perfetto e comodissimo per chi ama il profilo modern C, verniciatura impeccabile. Il pau ferro non è certamente uno dei migliori ma si presenta benino. Il vero problema è che comunque è un manico nuovo uscito dalla linea di fabbricazione preso e venduto, quindi necessita di una rettifica dei tasti in quanto non è rettificato e con una riga dritta ci sono proprio dei punti alti e bassi. Idem per i bordi dei tasti che sono taglienti come un rasoio in quanto non rifiniti. Aggiungiamoci il fatto che il capotasto è da lavorare in quanto alto e praticamente senza solchi, e abbiamo un prodotto bello da vedere ma con un rapporto qualità/prezzo bassissimo se mettiamo in conto le ore di lavoro del liutaio per metterlo a punto.
