Fender Player series 2 bass

I’m a guitarist that has increasingly found the need to learn the bass. I will be using it to write and to record with. After much research I decided on the Fender P bass. The player series 2 released at the same time and just within my budget. The birch green colour stood out and is even more impressive in the flesh. The guitar is surprisingly light weight and plays and sounds superb right out of the box. The delivery from Thomann was prompt and easily tracked. The packaging from Thomann was as robust and reliable as always, giving peace of mind. I’m looking forward to getting going on this very cool instrument.

Das Player II Update bezieht sich vor allem auf die Farben (und Birch Green ist wirklich ein Hingucker), als auch nochmals die Optimierung des Halses (mit den rolled edges) und einer noch etwas dunkleren Abstimmung der Satinlackierung im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger. Klanglich ist das P Bass as P Bass can und dabei sogar vom Gewicht her echt angenehm. Ich habe noch für +65€ von der Thomann Werkstatt mittels Plekabstimmung einen Knochensattel einpassen lassen - das kann ich nur empfehlen!

The Player II update relates primarily to the colors (and Birch Green is really an eye-catcher), as well as the optimization of the neck (with the rolled edges) and a slightly darker satin finish compared to the predecessor. In terms of sound, the P Bass is as P Bass can be and even the weight is really pleasant. I had the Thomann workshop fit a bone saddle using a pickguard for €65 - I can only recommend it!
