Fishman Tonedeq

This pedal just sounds awesome throught the my Fishman Artist loudbox. The sound quality is excellent and to be able to mix effects is also a big plus. The options this pedal offers in possible connections with a PA system are great. The only negative aspect that I am not impressed with is there is no tuner..........the rest of the pedal totally makes up for it.

I play my wah pedal through this pedal and the sound quality of the guitar and the wah pedal is improved 5 times over...some may say it depends on the pickup you use, and I agree I use a Fishman Neo D Humbucker and the sound is optimal.

I would'nt hesitate to recommend this pedal to anyone looking to improve their acoustic sound.

Fishman are just as good as AER...or better and are cheaper.
Just something to keep in mind...if you know someone who plays Cello with passive pickups..this is a great preamp use because it ihas flexibility with different frequencies

This pedal is awesome.

SPLENDID combination of features, sound quality and ergonomics!
JorisV 11.10.2015
Almost a dream come true: just what many guitarists need just in ONE BOX with great sound quality and supersimple ergonomics. The choice, settings and (limited; thank you!) possibilities of the included digital effects are perfect to me. At most one could criticize the somewhat light plastic construction that might not withstand (long term) rough stage use.

O
This is the Holy Grail for me

I own ads of acoustic guitars and even the cheapest one sounds brilliant when passing through the Fishman Tone AFX DEQ.

I must also state that the effects on this unit are fantastic - the delays , reverbs and even the tremolo, flanger and chorus are A Grade!

A must buy if acoustic tone is critical for you on stage and in studio (if DI'ing)

Cheers,
Oliver Sean

Makes life easier

I have an acoustic guitar without preamp and that device solved my problem. It preserves the natural tone of the instrument. When I first plugged it, I really enjoyed the sound. Also the effects sound great and give the player total control of his wet sound.
On the other hand, I was dissapointed that I didn't find mentioned anywhere that when using the xlr output, you cannot control the volume of the preamp. I should have read it in the manual before purchasing. Also deciding between effects and choosing them when playing live is a little tricky.
