The Fun Generation SePar Quad LED RGBW IR is an LED spotlight for both coloured and white cones of light, which is characterized by its simple colour mixture combined with some useful features. It has a comparatively narrow beam that produces a slim, bright cone of light. Besides red, blue, and green, it also offers white. The flat shape of the matt black housing fits on even the smallest surfaces. The SePar Quad LED RGBW IR can be positioned in a variety of ways: It can be hung on a truss, for example. Placed on the double bracket, it can be used as a floor spot to highlight walls and objects at an angle from below. It can also be used as a decorative uplight shining vertically upwards.

Concentrated beam

The Fun Generation SePar Quad LED RGBW IR is equipped with five 4-in-1 LEDs that deliver four watts of power each. When it comes to proper cabling, there's a simple trick to remember: What goes in at the top goes out at the bottom. The IEC socket for the power input and the 3-pin DMX input are thus located on the top of the spotlight, while the corresponding outputs are located underneath. The control panel is on the back and consists of a luminous display with menu buttons. Noteworthy are the four rubber feet, which allow a slip-resistant grip when used as an uplight. The light is operated with four menu buttons, via DMX control, or with an optionally available infrared remote control. This requires visual contact with the spotlight. The sensor is located at the front, next to the LEDs.

Can go touring or clubbing

The Fun Generation SePar Quad LED RGBW IR is a decorative spotlight for DJs, musicians, and other entertainers on tour as well as for club owners. Operating the SePar Quad LED RGBW IR is particularly easy because it uses only three basic colours to create mixtures. One spot weighs just 1.1kg. The remote control, available as an accessory, makes artists on tour independent of in-house lighting technicians on site. It also offers numerous features such as access to automatic programmes, adjustable speeds, music control, and a strobe effect. If club owners want to integrate the SePar Quad LED RGBW IR into their lighting rigs, they can choose between two, four, six, or eight DMX channels.

Gala performance

An artist is booked to perform at a birthday party. They want to achieve the greatest effect possible for their audience with as little equipment as they can get away with and a simple mix of colours. To increase the impact of their performance, they set up five Fun Generation SePar Quad LED RGBW IRs in a generous semicircle around them. With a beam angle of only 20°, they cast narrow beams onto the back wall and on the sides of the otherwise darkened location. The LEDs are quickly connected to the grid using the 1.5-metre power cord. The artist selects the sound control mode and sets the built-in microphones for all lights to the same level of sensitivity. this light is a wonderful addition to my collection being at a great price as i originally was looking at the mega par profile by adj and stumbled across these, being a name i had never heard of before meant that this was a risky purchase. however i took the risk and am so glad that i did as for the price point i personally think that they out perform the adj equivalent, with its impressive color mixing giving great whites and even a good warm white when well mixed and its astounding brightness for its price, it without a doubt matches and even out performs the high end equivalent. the only bad point about this fixture is that its hanging bracket is a little on the thin side, still perfectly safe but does make precision focusing slightly challenging at times. taking all of the pros and cons into account it still is 100% a fantastic deal and defiantly worth the money.

Good but could be better

i bought this light to go along with a few other lights i have but sadly it just isn't anywhere as good. Dont get me wrong it gets the job done its just i would advise someone to just pay the little extra and get a light thats superior .

Compact and Good

I am satisfied with the colour and illuminating power of these lights. Lights do not get warm at all, even after many hours of use. Power out socket is great for daisy chaining.

The bracket is a little weird and not of good quality. When hanging these lights the bracket gets easily bent because its very thin. Also when trying to setup an illuminating angle with the light on the floor the bracket is not stiff enough so you have to adjust many times.

I tried this light outdoors to create some ambiance. With a mixer it works fine. I tried the auto sound mode and it is quite horrible. It changes colours randomly even when a slight noise is heard.

Since it is made out of plastic, the light is very light weight. The power out outlet makes it easier to daisy chain the power cord along with the DMX cable.

For very small applications the light is very bright and the colours are decent. They are not too deep... and with white leds pastel colours can be created.

For its price, this light is very good.
