Great. Non standard rack bolt however.
A.Bender 21.12.2017
This is great, well worth the money. I was sceptical as it isn't cage nuts, and I've purchased something else recently with fixed thread spacing and gear didn't fit in it so it had to be returned. This however appears to have been made with some precision and everything I've gone to mount so far has fitted easily.

Only grumble is that the thread isn't a standard size, so pile of rack bolts I already have are no use for this. The case comes with a bag of "Gator Bite" bolts, but only enough to populate approx 1 third with 1u units, so I need to go on the hunt for some more now, and they're not looking to be that easy to find.

CH
Fantastic lightweight road case
Colin H. 11.08.2015
This is a great hardwearing lightweight rack case. We've mounted our desk in the top and have a couple of storage drawers (recommend the Adam Hall aluminium range). Our kit can now be kept connected up which saves a bunch of set up time!

It seems study and has plenty of space for cabling. Power units can also be mounted at the rear and the rear door has a cable outlet.

Gator also do a set of castors which we use with it, although it's fine for two people to carry when fully loaded with draws and gear!

Thomann were as good as they usually are with delivery time.

B
Best Mixer Rack Flightcase!
Bobber 28.07.2017
This is by far the best rack flightcase that I have ever owned! Gator is basically making the same products as some of the more expensive brands, same quality, similar models, but at half the price. The case is very light but sturdy, ideal for road use, but can also be used in fixed installations.

This particular flightcase is a "Swiss army-knife" for a medium size PA system that needs to go on the road often. Rack units can be mounted from the top, the front, and the back, making the knobs you need more often more readily available, while knobs you need less often can be stowed away in the back. The flightcase has three lids and the back lid has a hole for cables, so it can stay on while the rack is in use. I have used different setups with the flightcase, the most obvious being a mixing desk in the top position with different rack units in the front and the back mostly open to be able to access the inputs/outputs. More recently I put a rackmixer in the top position, using the extra top space for trays with different bits and pieces for studio use.

Depending on how you arrange the rack units, you will also have space for snake cables, power extensions etc. inside the flightcase. But a word of advice: Do not get carried away and stuff too much into the flightcase . It has no wheels, so if it gets too heavy you will have trouble lugging it around.

Ä
Huge and a bit unstable
Ädi 22.02.2018
This thing is quite big, when you get all the doors and protections clamped on. It works fine, and is easy to set up.

I noticed when moving it for the first time, how front heavy it is. It makes it a bit wobbly to carry, as it wants to tip over if you're not careful.
