Before the purchase, consider the size of block. 36mm perfectly suits super strat type body. 40mm surely will exceed. Sustain, the feel and the range of dive, flutter are better than FR. Slayer and Pantera fans do not hesitate.

Ich habe das Tremolo als Ersatz für ein Floyd Rose 1000 in meine Solar 1.6 FR verbaut.
Hat leider nicht ganz in die originale Aussparung des Korpus gepasst (ca 1mm musste ich abtragen).
Die Haltebolzen habe ich nicht getauscht sondern die bereits verbauten verwendet.
Die Gotoh Einschlagbolzen haben zudem andere Maße. Man müsste also die bestehenden Löcher dafür vergrößern.

Das GE1996T sieht spitze aus und fühlt sich auch wertig an.

Der Größte Vorteil zum Floyd Rose ist für mich der Tremolo Arm.
Dieser wird hier am Boden der Aufnahme verschraubt und bietet durch eine zusätzliche kleinere Schraube die Möglichkeit es fester in Position zu bringen oder es frei schwingen zu lassen.

Von mir gibt’s also eine klare Kaufempfehlung.
