These saddles had been recommended by a good friend of mine so I figured I'd try them out....making sure to order the right ones for my model of Les Paul. Packaging is minimalistic and contained instructions on how to adjust intonation once the saddles had been installed.

Installation of the saddles was relatively quick, taking roughly 20 mins. There was only one problem I encountered with them. The hole on the saddle for the D string had been drilled closer to the base of the T shaped saddle by just under a millimetre. This meant that once installed, the saddle would wobble from side to side. It didn't effect the pitch, but was not satisfactory. Rather than return the saddles and have to wait on replacements I put superglue on the underside of the arms to dry overnight, then sand down to fit. Did the trick and everything works perfectly. Tuning is stable, saddles are comfortable under the hand and they don't look outnof place on my guitar. Would recemmend.

Have had acouple of sets of these and they solve string breakage problems.

On my 2014 gibson les paul, I suffered a few string breakages in gigs. As Im not a particularly heavy player and don't thrash the strings, I filed down the stock bridge saddles but that didn't fix the problem entirely.

Having used these graph tech string saddles previously I decided to put these on my guitar.

They were a little fiddly to get on but not overly complex, and they have fixed The string breakage problem. Haven't noticed a significant improvement with sustain but that wasn't why I fixed them. Although they Are not chrome, they do not detract from the look of the guitar as they Re under the string!

Since I put them on have had no string breakages and have had confidence in the guitar.

Self lubricating for much smoother movement of strings when tuning up. I've noticed more sustain and tone. No sharp metal sticking in the side of your palm or cutting into the string, which could cause string breakage. Strings sit perfectly in saddle grooves. Will purchase another set for my other SG.
