Well, it's tailor made for this particular range of Gretsch guitars. I think it could be used for a number of similar shapes, like the Gibson ES 335 etc. It is hard on the outside and soft inside. A very good fit for my particular guitar and I'm confident that it is kept safe. Good case. Recommended.

My Gretsch Electromatic G5420T is very secure in this case. Very good looking except minor finish flaws and, all in all, very good except thin lock ring for pad lock.

perfect case for my guitar Gretsch G5622T-CB LH Electromatic GRN - ordered it on the same order with the guitar. Costly, but well padded and it fits the guitar very well.
A bit on the heavy side, but my Gretsch is heavy as well (Bigsby included), and it's a hard case after all.
I understand it fits other models too, from the same family of guitars. Sturdy and reliable. Costs more than 10% of my Gretsch's value, but it does the job.

I got this as part of a "bundle" with a big green lefty Gretsch Electromatic.
It's a good quality case...not the cheapest you'll find, and you probably pay extra for the name...but if fits the guitar perfectly (why take a chance on one that doesn't) and if you're buying a Gretsch, you'll want a Gretsch case
