This case come with excellent padding and is really well designed. It will offer great protection to any guitar. It's best suited to semi-acoustic or any guitar with some thickness to it. I had no trouble fitting in my medium-large laptop in the outer pocket. There is excellent padding between the guitar and outer pocket -- a detail many gig bag designers miss. The neck section is quite long and could easily fit a smaller electric bass guitar. I had a difficult time making the decision to return it, but I was mainly looking for the smallest possible "gig bag" that offered the best protection for being a soft case. Although it more than met all my high demands, the neck section was just too long for my guitar, when I'm trying to be discreet bringing it onto airplanes.
