Does what it should
rQwor 07.01.2019
The switch is a single row version of the dual row 5-way switch typical on Fender Strats.
Pros
It switches smoothly and it doesn't have slack.

Cons
In overdrive, mine sometimes makes small scratch noises when switched, which are audible in overdrive mode, beacuse they are amplified by my amp

Overall, good value for the money.

Cheap and reliable
tomtomssi 07.03.2018
The basic "import" type 5-way switch found in strat copies and Ibanez's. Works the same way as the Fender 5-way switch but this one has the 8 contacts in a single row.

I don't have anything bad to say about this one. The switch feels smooth when changing positions and the build quality is excellent. I've soldered wires on and off this switch multiple times and with no heat damage whatsoever.

5/5!

Works fine
Wilson WIlsonson 29.01.2021
Installed this on my project guitar.
The switch is a bit stiff - not sure if that's a pro or con. Depends on your taste.

Too small lug holes
Gasitis 02.05.2024
The switch itself works ok, but those tiny lug holes make it very difficult to solder. There are better alternatives out there for sure.
