Rt
A great acoustic guitar
Rippa the Hutt 01.04.2020
I was looking for a decent dreadnought, that wasn't expensive enough to make me apprehensive when carrying it around, with a decent sound, acceptable aestetics and better than average neck profile.
After a few Cort (they were decent, cheap and ugly, but nowadays are a little more expensive (and they also have a "bling-bling" sort of appearance), yamahas (great guitars but look like crap when selected among the cheapest) and Ibanez (good necks but ugly sound, to me), I decided to give a try to the cheapest of all, this HB. I really liked the "western" appearance of the sunburst and the 60's look of this one so I bought both at a couple of months of distance.
The good:
- Excellent sound, equilibrated yet powerfully present in the bass;
- Really, realy outstanding neck: it compares to my 1997 Gibson Les Paul DC, so it's got one of the best necks I have ever tried.
- for the pricepoint, fairly good fretboard;
- It sounds very well tuned and tempered, really. I can play beyond the octave without hearing beats.
- effective trussroad: I can set a fairly low action;

The bad:
-Not much, may be the paint is not well refined at the body joint. I don't give a damn actually.

AG
Very satisfied beginner
A Guy dreamming to play Guitar 15.03.2021
I ordered this very cheap guitar designed on the US (hesitating a little as it is not made there but in .... anyway ) As before the Thomann's service and precision on the Delivery despite this so called and forced New Normality days was excellent and j.i.t., I am really satisfied there.
In regards to the Guitar itself the same, even despite my absolute 0 level as wannabe guitar player appreciate the good quality in the production of my Guitar, the resonance is great, I imagine the day I manage to play those chords nicely. The sound is clear and could be very loud if the strumming is hard.... I made some adjustments on the saddle as I felt the Action was too high and as well changed the cheap chords it came with (obvious fact for a 69 euros guitar) and replace them for thinner gauge strings with a higher quality, due to my beginners' ignorance I bought chord from Fender... next time (next guitar?) I will try other strings brand with the lowest gauge. This guitar despite it sounds so nice has a 42,5 mm Nut and a Neck's thickness (ignore what is the technical name for that) on the second fret of 30mm... I have kind of chubby fingers and probably short ones... so I still struggle to achieve clear notes like C and D... maybe has nothing to do with this Guitar's Neck/Nut but my lack of technique and dexterity... time and practice will tell, in between I will get a second Guitar from Thomann too, this time with a 45 mm Nut... I might let you know in case I publish my review on it. Cheers. Love, Piece and Lots of Music... that's is the Key fro everything, especially in these dystopian times of forced Change and Adaptation.

Outstanding value

such an impressive quality guitar for the money. It's certainly not a high quality guitar, but it's miles ahead of other guitars in it's price range.
