US customer-Very happy with my FRFR active cab.
benjamman 19.05.2021
I'm in the US, so I had to get a voltage converter. But that was a $30 addition for an industrial strength option. My Helix LT sounds great through this cab. I haven't had to adjust any of my "recording" patches at all. Having some tone control on the cab is a great feature too for fine tuning in live settings. I've read others voice concern over the 90 Hz low end spec. Trust me, it's plenty beefy and breaths like a guitar cab! What a great value, when the next closest competitor to this is well over $1k for a stereo FRFR guitar cab. I think I'll pick another one up to use as a fill for the other side of the stage at some venues, and just as a backup. It's inexpensive enough to do that.

Quality!

I have made good money from playing guitar for 30 years.

I have a lot of equipment.

I am going to sell my fender Hot rod deluxe3.

It is that good.

My new rig is AT 5, a really good Steinberg audiocard, a powerful small laptop, a Behringer fcb 1010 and this Harley Benton

People saying that it is not "moving air" ?
That is just not true. This thing is loud as Hell if you want it to
And that 90 hz bass cut? NP because it is not cutting there.. that is where the bass slope starts to be noticed. This thing is "beefy" trust me

Alll in all after really trying to dive into this package for 12 hours!

For the money there is nothing better.

This and Amplitube 5 is my new live rig.
To Control it I will use the Behringer fcb 1010

This total is a killer combination

Good FRFR Cabinet
BStrong 14.10.2020
I just got this cabinet and my experience so far is good, it pushes some air but I’m not getting the “amp in the room” feeling, but maybe that is too much to ask for a FrFr cabinet anyway? (Its not easy to get used to FrFr)
If you don’t like it you could always disconnect the tweeters and put a good set of speakers in it and use it as a regular stereo cab /wedge😃

Loud and clear sounding cabinet and does exactly what it is designed for and i give 5 stars on everything at this price...

Just excellent.

I was on the fence about these FRFR cabs but honestly, I've been blown away by this.

The PRO's.
It is loud, I mean loud.
It is clear as a bell.
It is stereo and does indeed give a great stereo spread (as someone else stated in another review).
Noise-free, to test it I used the cheapest guitar I own (sub £60) single coil cranked up through a GT1000 and it is so quiet. All of my valve amps make white noise.
The resonance is great for removing too much bass and the presence makes the high-end sing. Baritones sound awesome.
Balanced in and out on the back and line in on the front.
It is surprisingly light to carry.
The price. Thomann also sent a three-pin UK mains cable, thank you.

The Cons.
It is surprisingly big probably because it is quite deep.
It definitely needs a cover if you are going to gig with it it is not built like a tank but then it doesn't weigh a lot either so it is not too difficult to manipulate it about the place.

Unblievable price for what you get.
