A tribute to the classic

Classic looks, classic specifications, classic sound: The Harley Benton TE-52 NA is a typical T-style guitar whose special feature is its price-performance ratio. With an American ash body and, since the model’s 2021 facelift, a roasted maple neck and fingerboard, this guitar matches the characteristics of far more expensive models. Other features include high-quality single-coil pickups from Roswell and vintage-style hardware that sounds as authentic as it looks. All of these elements guarantee a great guitar sound, which you can enjoy even more when playing through the Harley Benton HB-20R included in the bundle. This compact 20-watt transistor combo amp is perfect for practising at home, not least thanks to its headphone jack and AUX input for playing back tracks from your mobile phone. The bundle is rounded off by a set of useful accessories, including a gigbag, tuner, nylon strap, instrument cable, and picks.

Solid features

The natural wood look of the ash body features an attractive grain and a high-gloss finish, while the neck sports a matt finish for increased playing comfort. Speaking of the neck: This features a glued-on maple fretboard and is particularly robust and resistant to warping, as the wood has been caramelised (a type of roasting). The design of the bridge allows both string-through-body and toploader stringing methods to be used. Circuitry has been kept very clean and simple: Volume control, tone control, and selector switch. This three-way switch allows the player to flip easily between the pickups, with the “humbucking” middle position suppressing interference. Together with the Harley Benton HB-20R, this makes a whole range of sounds available, from clean through to overdriven Rock. The amp’s two channels each have a dedicated volume control and share a three-band EQ section and reverb effect.

Affordable bundle for beginners

This budget-friendly bundle comprising the Harley Benton TE-52 guitar and Harley Benton HB-20R amplifier is chiefly aimed at novice Classic Rock, Blues, and Country players who are on a small budget. The Harley Benton TE-52 characteristically offers a very direct, bright, and crisp sound (great for these music genres), which is further enhanced by the wood combination and Alnico V pickups from Roswell. The bridge design also ensures that the sound is not too thin, however. Combine this with the HB-20R amplifier, and beginners have a flexible tonal palette of everything from clean to overdriven as well as a reverb effect. The amp is ideal not just for rehearsals but also for practising at home thanks to its impressive connectivity, which includes an AUX input for playing along to your favourite tracks and a headphone jack, so you can play silently if you need to.

In total, the range includes over 1,500 products. Built by established names in the industry, all Harley Benton products combine quality and reliability at attractive and affordable prices. The continuous expansion of the range ensures that Harley Benton always provides new, exciting, and innovative products that keep players perfectly in tune with the musical world, day after day.

A simple guitar with many possibilities

Known for its simple design, the T-style guitar first appeared in the early 1950s and was the first of its kind, preceding even the Les Paul and other popular models. Don’t let this simplicity fool you, however. Thanks to its fixed bridge design and a three-way selector switch with a middle position, this flexible electric guitar can be used across many musical genres and is generally regarded as an indestructible workhorse – and you can be assured of just that with the Harley Benton TE-52 as well. With its authentic-sounding Tube Emulating circuit, the Harley Benton HB-20R included in this bundle is the perfect companion for everything from clean tones through to full-on overdriven Rock, and the on-board spring reverb effect expands the range of available sounds even further. The amp is primarily suited to practising at home thanks to its headphone jack and AUX input, but its 20-watt output is also sufficient for the rehearsal room and very small club stages – provided the drummer is not too loud, of course!
