The dual coil / mic pickup is great to have. I haven't found anything for that price that have these options and it's one I really wanted so percussive sounds would be picked up.

Sounds good with my dreadnought plugged into an amp.

In my case the G string sounded way louder than the others. I did find a way to attenuate the effect by taping two small coins on the pick up just under the G string. After that it just seems perfect for me.

Single coil gives it that particular sensitivity / dynamics that humbuckers don't have, it's something to know (I really like that, I've never had a single coil guitar before and I think they sound really cool).

The wire is not super thick but still decent. Since it's short and just meant to be attached to the guitar and not directly on an amp, I think it's better than other options where you got a long thin cable, which seem riskier.

Obviously if you have a way bigger budget for a pickup there probably is way better out there, but in this price range this one seems really good. Let's see how it holds up in the long run.

Sounds great with my dreadnought acoustic guitar.
Comparing to SH-20, it's great to have a choice whether use mic or not. It is pretty easy to regulate the volume and the mic capture level with this pickup. And the price is reasonable.

The magnetic pickup sounds great on a dreadnought, really nice sound. Can't really use the mic with the amp anywhere near close as you get a ton of feedback.

Excellent sound once I got it working.

I bought this pickup to replace and Artec woody style humbucker for my Alvarez. The Artec is a really poorly designed piece of kit. The cable failed after little more than a year, and it's difficult to tighten the holdning screws, although the sound was OK,

The Harley Benton sounded great once I got it working. There is a small slither of plastic covering the batteries which I didn't realise was there. At home, I've had the pickup on full volume, with the mic on about half way. I busk in a subway, and the wall opposite me is only about 3 metres away, so I will judge the amount of microphone I can useafter playing there tomorrow. I also bought a gig bag, and a tuner. Both are great, the gig bag does not really have any padding, but it oozes quality, great zips, tough material.

Problem is, the subway that I busk in has strip lighting, and this pickup displays all the problems associated with 60cycle hum, which is like a constant ringing in your ear from your amp.
