Just ok, K&M stuff more solid I think
Eugene M. 04.07.2017
I do not like these quick-lock attachments on mic stands. I reckon over time some of the thumb screws for setting boom length will ring, the threads I mean - strip.
I bought a K&M full size stand a while back and I think the quality blows these out of the water. I only bought it as I couldn't seem to get a shorty K&M one. The Gravity one probably better too.
I know some love this brand but I work as a pickup player live a lot and have seen a lot of broken Hercules stands being left in car boots and band wagons over the years. They tend to just get 'left there'.

Highly adaptable and extremely useful
Anonymous 07.01.2015
Running a small venue (180 cap) it can be problematic to find the space on stage when mic'ing up percussion or speakers for example. Shortened stands are extremely handy in these situations and also prevent visual clutter (too many boom stands and the stage looks like a forest of scaffolding).
Where the Hercules models excel is in their extra adaptabilty via a further extendable arm on the boom and a low profile of the legs, allowing you to sneak it inbetween hardware stands etc.
The build quality is also very good and we are still happily using the originals of these to this day.

Not bad at all

Seems pretty sturdy and stable overall, but I feel that some things could be improved a little.
