No, it's not a bass.

Great build quality, excellent neck if a somewhat different profile from a Strat or Gibbo. Good fret work and perfect nut with no defects in the finish. Very light weight so great for a long gig although a wee bit head heavy so use a leather strap. The pickups are single coil so there is a slight earth buzz but rolling off some treble with the tone control sorts this. It is quite loud acoustically for an electric giving about half the volume of a parlour guitar. I use this at low volumes so cannot comment on its feedback resistance. The hollow body may prove it unsuitable for metal heads but then they probably would not go for this type of guitar. All in all a good buy.

As a whole not a bad guitar at all, however there is no bag or case available for this guitar.
Low tones have trouble getting out of the woodwork as well

Hofner violin guitar

Lovely looking guitar with some issues . Some frets needed reseating to get a comfortable action without sitar style buzzing . But this guitar is worth the effort as it has its own sound and feel.

this is a very different guitar too play , but good different !, once you have mastered it the guitar plays very well and the sound is great, you dont need an amp for this guitar for homework and practice.
