Ibanez keeps killing it
GM2112 08.11.2022
Have been hoping to get into the multiscale game for some time, and the style and price of the EHB series really appealed to me.
Pros:
- Looks even better in person than it does in pictures
- Great weight balance
- Multiscale feels suprisingly natural to a new player
- Bridge is a easier to adjust and tune than my old Steinbergers
- EQ is pretty nice for a bass at this level

Cons... can't really think of any? The detachable finger ramp is a little plasticky and I'm jealous that the BTB series gets a hardcase rather than a gigbag, but not much worth fretting (hah) over.

I do know that Ibanez has had some delivery QC issues, notably I had a few things that needed gone over when I purchased an AFR series from another retailer. However I'm happy to also report that Thomann is on the ball here, my EHB was just about as close to perfect as you can get out of the box.

Lastly, huge shoutout to Thomann for great communication and excellent shipping coordination throughout the purchase process. Being an American customer I was a little worried about importing this instrument versus buying domestic, but Thomann made it a breeze. They'll definitely be at the top of my list for my future music needs.

Great Bass, sounds way better than it looks :-)

Love this Bass for flying with and trips away..so portable and light. Build quality a little iffy in places but mainly cosmetic stuff. Sent an email to Ibanez about that but got no reply...dissapointing.

Leider sehr enttäuscht
Maik2910 20.10.2023
