Der Jackson David Ellefson CBX IV SBK ist nicht nur für Fans der Band Megadeth oder Metaller. das Bass ist aufgrund der Ausstattung (EMG Pickups, 3-Band EQ etc.) ein absoluter Allrounder. Fingerstyle, mit Pick oder sogar geslappt, der Bass klingt extrem ausgewogen und harmonisch. Durch die asymmetrischen Halsbauweise ("compound radius) ist der Jackson extrem leicht und komfortabel zu spielen. Ein Bass der richtig Spaß macht und in dieser Preisklasse gibt es kaum vergleichbare Instrumente die solch einen Fertigungsstandard besitzen. alles in allem ein Bass den man mal an checken sollte, auch wenn man keinen Metal spielt.

Empiezo señalando que el acabado es muy pro,es un negro satinado muy elegante.
Las EMG no son de las mejores del catalogo pero hay que tener en cuenta que esta serie de jackson ya tiene casi 3 años,aun asi,tienen un buen sonido.
No me convence que el madera del cuerpo sea del tilo,hay maderas mejores para conseguir sonidos mas "profundos" pero en este caso,es el ejemplo de hacerse al sonido del propio instrumento y este bajo es un ejemplo,saca un buen sonido de medios y bien ecualizado,tienen unos graves muy "pesados" pero creo que habría sido mejor elegir una madera mas dura.
El mastil de arce es muy muy suave,muy comodo,el puente es de buen material,los inlays son preciosos y la cejuela acepta hasta un calibre 50-120.
En calidad-precio,es lo mejor del catalogo,para afinaciones drop va de perlas. Con overdrives como darkglass,de tipo microtubes se consigue un sonido bastante destructivo.No es un bajo para tocar jazz,funk,etc para exprimir todo el potencial,mejor afinaciones drop para música tipo metalcore.
Llegó en buen estado dentro del plazo de tiempo,bien embalado y sin golpes,ambas tapas sin rasguños,sin marcas de dedos.Ninguna queja.
