good choice for someone who cares about the sound...

Overall I am very happy with this violin. I gave 4 stars for the quality since it has tool marks here and there. It looks like already had some years on it...I specify that for the sake of completeness, otherwise the sound and the playability is much more important to me...Construction is solid, the sound is warm and balanced. It gives the impression that it is a much higher priced violin than it is. Wood qualty appears to be high, finish is quite thin...I liked the case very much indeed. The bow is OK.. Hope this helps someone...

Spitzen Geige
Guarneri 17.02.2023
