The size is perfect for gig bags - I just keep it there permanently, making any packing easier.
The only downside I found was that the angle of the note console cannot be adjusted at any angle as the other K&M 10065 stand I have. Unfortunately for me the angle is either to vertical or too flat. It just does not hold in between, which is shame.
It is still worth to get it for me as there is no other stand that would fit in the gig bag.

The Classic, but More Compact

You can't go wrong with a K&M stand. This is basically the century-old design, except it folds into a slightly shorter package. It's not made for a conductor's score or windy outdoor gigs, instead, it is eminently portable and suitable for light sheet music. But do yourself a big favour and learn how to fold and unfold the top properly so it doesn't join the big K&M cemetery littered with warped and twisted stands. Too easily done.
