I bought this music sheet holder for my small room where there is no room for things on the floor. It is attached to my office table and it holds really well. I can now study music without having everything running on my floor, making it impossible to walk around.
I also really like the fact that it is stable and stays in plays without relaxing its grip. The only thing that is a bit unstable (though not a problem for me at least) is the holder itself, which, if turned slightly, will make the screw go loose. After that you have to tighten it a bit to make it stand its position again. But if not moved, it just stays perfectly in place.

Artistic license Added

The fact that this holder is tiny, almost an A4 sheet turned sideways makes it very discreet and a lot less bogus than my old music stand, A down side is that I don?t really see it handling lots of books all together. I sometimes stack six or seven text books on top of each other especially when studying.
I used a bit of artistic license and drilled a 5mm by 1.5mm diagonal notch on each of the corner ends of the lip on the tray. This works well with the K&M 11590 : Konig and Meyer Sheet Music Holder. Place the magnet at the back of the tray , centre top and pass the transparent nylon strings over the top of the book to each of the bottom corners of the tray and slot into the notches using the plastic end caps as locking restraints. This inverts the intended use of the K&M 11590 device. K&M take note:-It would be useful to pre-notch the music stand, after all they are both your products.
