This is a nice guitar stand but not for gigs and on stage environment.it has a lot of folding componentsz so guitar cables tend to jam on it.For home use it is very good, but for stage i recommend "Hercules Stands GS 455 B"

suitable for giging

bought this 2 years ago, used it frequently for bass and electric. Sturdy, and handled nicely over the time. However the plastics are cheap, the safety thing for the guitar neck broken after half year of active usage. Acoustic guitar fill fit on this, but it wil hurt its lacquer.
