This quick-release adapter is a simple design, but a great idea.

I play among others in a cover band where we have to set up all our own gear: instruments and amps, PA and microphones. Having the quick release adapter installed makes for easy and super-fast setup and breakdown time.

Also, having the adapter mounted on top of my K&M-stand and the microphone and mount neatly tucked away together, makes sure there is no damage during transport.

A good, practical idea if you ask me.

Is really small, no play, it is light but sturdy, can be rotated in 6 angles and released with one hand!!

I don't know about other Quick-Release adapters but this one is a good one. Strong and stable. After I bought one, already bought few more. Can't stop using them, One small thing, everything is solid but it comes with plastic 3/8" adapter. It could come with metal one. Plastic one is ok, but metal would give it indestructable look.
