I bought this adapter to mount a lcd screen to a tripod in order to use it in various positions and locations on my home studio.

Pros: still have it. very solid - as usual with K&M.

Good but doesn't take much weight
Anonymous 11.09.2014
I got this so I could mount a spare LCD monitor on a mic stand in my vocal booth. The part is well made like most K&M parts, but it doesn't really tighten enough to hold the weight of a large monitor (24" LCD) without sagging. I was able to get it to stay at a particular angle (around 45 degrees) where the weight was obviously balanced but it limits the possible positions that the monitor can be put into.

It would be perfect for a much lighter or smaller screen.
