K&M 26747 Beamer Tray

we bought two of these for our live show, we needed to be able to mount projectors safely and precisely for some custom visuals. We already had 4 speaker stands, so we tried these out. They are incredibly steady when mounted on a good speaker stand, so long as you tape down the projector and the cables, this is not going anywhere!
When not using them at shows, they make a great 'instant table' for accommodating audio interfaces, samplers, extra monitors etc. in our studio. Once again, the cabling needs to be cable tied with velcro ties to the stand, but it makes a standing (rather than sitting) workflow possible—which suits our style perfectly! It means all of the studio elements (audio interface, mixer, monitors, mics) can be arranged within arms reach for fast and efficient tracking — hey, I might buy a few more!!

If you bought monitor stands and the top tray is too small to fit even tiny speakers, and you're worried about your new investment falling to the ground and breaking, then buy these.

I'm using them for my Samson R6a's and there's plenty of space and no fear of them toppling over. I imagine these trays would also fit 8" monitors just as comfortably.

If your monitor poles have a diameter of 3.5cm or less then buy these and be secure in the knowledge that your studio monitors will be safe and stable.

You might also want to invest in some decoupler's to fully isolate the monitors from the tray itself.

Ich benutze diesen Beamer Tray zusammen mit einem schweren Boxenständer, um bei mobilen Kino-VA, Misch-Events, Podiumsdiskussionen und Vortragsreihen meinen Beamer optimal einzusetzen. Der Beamer gehört zur Oberklasse und verlangt insofern nach einem ebenso guten Stand. Daneben setze ich ebenso umfangreiche Ton-PA ein. Ich arbeite In- wie Outdoor, z.T. mit eigener Kofferleinwand oder mit vor Ort vorhandenen Leinwänden.

Kurzgefasst bietet dieses Tray viel Gewicht und dadurch eine sehr gute Stabilität. Die 35mm-Flansch-Kupplung lässt sich problemlos fixieren. Das Arbeiten mit diesem Tray erhöht das Sicherheitsgefühl.

Mittlerweile habe ich gut zwei Dutzend Einsätze mit diesem Tray hinter mir und die Qualität hat nichts eingebüßt.

Ein kleiner Nachteil besteht in der relativen Unflexibilität, denn eine leichte Neigungsfunktion fehlt einfach. Nicht immer reichen die Verstellmöglichkeiten des Boxenständers und/oder der flexiblen Linse meines Beamers aus, hier wäre eine geringe Neigungsmöglichkeit meist sehr von Vorteil.

Alles in allem bin ich aber wirklich zufrieden und würde diesen Tray auch wieder kaufen.
