What can I say ? Nice ! Well made ! Does what it says ! Scores 10 out of 10. I like the finish - nice matt black !
I find these are essential on my boom arms, not only to stop the arm falling through the clamp, but also to lock down any connecting microphone clamps. Other information you may find useful - the diameter is 22.35mm and the thickness is 3.5mm.

Does what a thumbwheel ought to do...
DrCheese 14.01.2021
Threads onto 3/8" microphone stand threads - the narrower standard favoured outside of the US. Mainly use on telescopic boom arms to prevent the final section sliding inside of the previous section. Other uses can be found: I use a couple of them to fix mic clips in place on 3/8" threaded bars for a Jecklin disc. Keep a few spare for odd jobs. Well made and good value.

A useful tool to have as spare
jampa 15.11.2017
Fits on the end of mic stands and helps to lock things in place.
This is the narrow size, I think it is 3/8" inch.

Screwed and nuts?
kfhdk 27.11.2021
If you don’t want to feel screwed by screws or mounts mysteriously loosening themselves, then this is the ideal “locking” nut, preventing you from going nuts on set. Black color helps suppressing blinking reflections from powerful stage lights; although black Gaffa will have a similar effect, it’s one less task to do when setting up.
