Ra
Feels like a toy . may work for some.
Richard aus Q. 22.10.2018
I am completly rewriting this review to update my thoughts on this. I always blamed my newbieness (inexperience) for it now working quite right with Reaper and probably it's part of the problem (me). But Man! I just got the Behringer X-touch one and it was a breeze to set up and the Xtouch works incredibly well. If you can afford a bit more, go for the Xtouch. Sorry Korg! :/

r
Best Midi Controller
rEMAKER 02.01.2021
I bought this because I needed a midi controller to control my orchestral libraries(expression and dynamics)and it works great.
It has a bunch of different modes for different DAWs you choose them with a combination of the buttons.(the manual goes through this for almost every daw and if your daw is not on the list it has a "universal" mode)
In ableton the first three channels or the first two are pre mapped to the corresponding controls in the Korg Nano. To bypass this just map the controls that are already mapped to something else and then delete the new mapping you just made and they should be clean.

Pros:
The faders feel great
It has pause, stop, play, record buttons
Solo, mute ,rec for each channel separately so you don't even have to use your mouse when recording
Its used a lot by many djs/producers both live and in the studio
its built really well it feels solid
You can't beat the price!
Cons:
The only con that I can think of is the potentiometers feel a bit too easy to twist so be careful.

Overall a really good controller and all most of us are ever going to need. And with a great price!

A
Installation problems in Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Anonymous 17.09.2016
Small but fairly powerful control device.
Good price performance ratio.

Unfortunately, installation failed because recent driver (1.15.1401) is not properly digitally signed for install on Windows 7 64-bit.

After many attempts, (KORG support non existent), problem solved with older driver 1.14.1202.

O
Short-lived product....
Octane 05.02.2022
With daily use, faders cease to work correctly on average after six months... This is my seventh such device. But he has a very attractive price! ;)
