Great Tuner but don't let your cat piss on it
Simeon Explicit 21.07.2021
The other guitarist in my band uses the same one and kept borrowing it because it was much better than mine. Eventually I had to order some stuff from Thomann and decided to get my own Pitchclip as well. I used it for little over a month and then, sadly, my cat pissed on it...
The foul toxic liquid soaked the electronics which, even after proper cleaning with contact cleaner and many prayers, could not be resurrected. This of course is in no way the manufacturer's fault. The tuner is not advertised as water/piss-proof.

N
Works nice on 5/6 string basses
NickNT 30.07.2019
I just wanted a gadget to use at home and rehearsals. When gigging I am using a Pitchblack pedal tuner, since I had some uneven experience from previous clip-on tuners, and I wouldn't trust them for a gig.

Nonetheless, the PC-2 is certainly an improvement over anything else I've tried, excluding some very expensive (in comparison) options. First and foremost, it tracks the B string very well (as well as any other string, of course). The build quality is fine (I've dropped it a couple of times with no damage at all), and its pretty easy to read.

The only somehow annoying thing about it is that despite having the option to reverse the screen indications (so that you can place it in the back of the headstock), it makes you feel that this is not its "normal" mode, for two reasons:

a) you have to press the "on" button for a longer time (which would be ok if there was no point b), and
b) it does not store this preference (i.e. reverse mode), and you have to turn it on the same way (long-pressing the button) every single time.

In terms of functionality, I've used it in a rather noisy environment with no problems at all; I cannot however know if it would pick-up unwanted vibrations at a large stage (i.e. very loud PA), since I have not yet used it live. My guess is that it would work just fine.

Overall, I think that it's really great for the price, and it works really nice on bass. I'll probably get a second one as a back-up.

P
my go-to tuner, to set-up my guitar, or for a quick tune-up live or/and in studio!
Pantognostis 22.12.2023
this one is without a doubt, a life saver!

all this years I was setting up my guitar with the D'Addario micro tuner, but in the end, it became a little frustrating, because the micro tuner is by default badly designed, as far as it's claw is concerned, but this lil fella just grips onto your guitar, and is holding on for dear life! and it's clamp mechanism is reallyyyy strong! this is my second one, my first I have had for 5-6 years and is STILL going strong!

used a Polytune too a couple of times, but I can't get used to that "all strings at once" way of tuning, I'm too old for that sh*t! but this Korg fella shines just as bright on stage, and the big on/off button helps you get into tune in between songs really quick!

for the price, it's definitely a steal! so go get one, guys! what are you waiting for?

This one is third already. Simple, easy to use and accurate. Be aware, cannot change the pitch only 440Hz.
