Ich habe bislang die Legere Classic 3,50 in Kombination mit einem Selmer C.Delangle gespielt. Nachdem ich nicht mehr die Zeit habe täglich zu üben wurde mein Sound dünner und gebremster. Deshalb habe ich nach einer leichter ansprechendend Alternative gesucht. Mit den Legere French Cut habe ich diese gefunden. Ich bin bei 3,25 gelandet und komme sehr gut zurecht. Die Blätter sprechen auch bei Staccato-Passagen gut und schnell an und liefern in meiner Kombination einen warmen und weichen Sound.
Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen ist, dass sie aufgrund der Blattstruktur auch etwas fragiler sind als die Classic und leichter kaputt gehen. Das tut bei dem höheren Preis doppelt weh.
