Top-notch volume pedal
CaveatEmptor 13.03.2021
Some may think a volume pedal for primarily guitar applications is kind of a niche thing, or a one-trick pony. They'd be right, mostly. Tools that do what they're supposed to do and do it very well are not actually that common, in my experience. Look how many crazy-mode reverb pedals out there cost an arm and a leg and can't even manage a good plate sound. I digress, but suffice it to say the Lehle Stereo Volume definitely meets my very basic but admittedly uncompromising standards. It does what it's supposed to do very well, and it's built to last. So it gets a rare 5-star rating from me with no complaints.

Pros:
- It's rock solid. Tank-like.
- Quiet and transparent.
- Very accurate and responsive.
- The Hall sensor means no monkey business with a cheap string or cruddy mechanics. Should be more reliable and perform more consistently over time than a cheaper alternative without the EM sensor.

Cons:
- Yeah, expensive. Yeesh. €250 for a volume pedal is steep. Worth it though if you only want to buy once.

Lehle quality

I own four Lehle device and I am very impressed with this brand. This volume pedal is no exception. It should last forever and the string-less system will likely never fail. But until that (never) happens, it performs very well and quite noticably, The frequencies are not affected by the reduction of volume like it happens with potis.

L
Pedal Tension WAY too light
Lodrezzon 10.06.2021
I use a moderately complex keyboard setup, and use stereo volume pedals to fade different sound modules in an out of my base tone. I purchased this pedal based on the great reviews, but after trying it out, the pedal tension is simply too light for professional use. I cannot spend all my time focusing on my pedal tension while I'm playing. I need a little tension so that when I take my foot off the pedal, it simply stays where I had it. But ANY movement at all by my foot, and the volume pedal goes to minimum or maximum instantly. This is with the tension screw set to max also. I'm not sure if I got a bum unit, but I use volume pedals for my guitar (Ernie Ball and Headrush), and have never had a pedal tension issue. To me, I simply can't recommend a $300 pedal that just flops around.
