Large, functional and quite loud Flexatone

Nice, larger type of Flexatone. I am using it during "accoustic drummers" sessions, for its overtone / eerie sound, full of higher harmonics. It is quite loud.

CONs: Not for players with small palms and short thumbs (e.g. childern!). The diameter between the handle and rim is relatively big and is not possible to controll this instrument with shorter thumb. O:-)

Great if it's what you want

I got the small and large. The small has a better tone and is easier to use. This is also good, but harder to play if you have small hands. Used through an echo for really strange effects too.

Percussion véritablement professionelle

Comme tous les produits de la marque LP que j'ai acheté, ce flexaton est de qualité professionnelle. Il est très sonore et l'utilisation en dehors d'un contexte d’orchestre est d'ailleurs délicat à causse de la puissance... De plus la qualité des finitions de ce produit comme pour ceux de l'ensemble des produits LP, est optimale !

Una herramienta imprescindible para el percusionista.

Este pequeño artilugio aporta un sonido original y muy particular a cualquier tema.
Los aficionados al reggae reconocerán su particular sonido en grabaciones clásicas de este género.
Con una construcción un poco más pobre a la que LP nos tiene acostubrados, en su tamaño grande es ideal pero algo complicado de manejar con una sola mano.
Un sonido imprescindible para todo percusionista todo-terreno.
