Proper bongos

Great sounding authentic traditional bongos, perfect for latin music.

Pros: sound amazing. The macho (small drum) is very snappy and cuts beautifully while the extra large hembra (large drum) has lovely depth.
Very solid build quality and I love the look of them.

Cons: No comfort rim (but not a problem when playing) and with the bigger hembra they're a little heavier.

Very pleased with these - the sound is weighty, rounded and snappy, with great projection. They'd be a fine addition to any band playing cuban music but would also work well in son groups where the bongos are the only drum. The macho really sings and getting super slaps out of it is ridiculously easy. The price is good compared to the other top tier lp bongos - these are the only bongos I'll ever need !

L'instrument en soit est très beau etc ....
Mais LP pourrait quand même faire un effort sur la qualité de leurs peaux !!! La peau du macho (petit fût) se déchire régulièrement ce qui n'arrivait pas il y a quelques années et je n'ai rien changé à mes habitudes de tension . A ce niveau de prix ........

Bongo mit typischem Salsa Sound

Dieses Bongo erfüllt alle Salsero Träume wenn es um die typischen Sounds geht, wie Slap Fingertip thumbs etc, deswegen ist es auch perfekt für alle anderen Musikrichtungen verwendebar.

Wie das bekannte LP Valje Bongo besteht das Dandy Bongo aus dem gleichen Holz und hat auch die traditionellen Rims, ein exzellenter Sound sind also garantiert. Speziell an diesem Bongo ist der grössere Durchmesser der Hembra-Trommel.

Ich empfehle noch ein Remo Nuskyn Rim für die kleinere Trommel (Macho). So ist der Sound noch knackiger und lauter. So steht den repiques und floreos nichts mehr im weg. Üben Üben Üben...
