L’ho acquistata in quanto la mia Martin D 28 di oltre quarant’anni è dal liutaio e ci rimarrà per un bel pezzo… volendo una dreadnought meno “delicata” usabile in ogni occasione ho scelto questa, dichiaratamente diversa per l’utilizzo di materiali non convenzionali. La chitarra è innovativa nei materiali ma assolutamente Martin per la qualità costruttiva, anche la gigbag è fantastica. La sorpresa è stata nel suono: potente, ricco di bassi, con gli acuti setosi ed il classico “buco” nei medi che è il trade mark di ogni Martin. Anche il pick up, a buca, discretissimo quindi, nonostante una certa povertà nel rendere gli armonici fa il suo dovere. Unica piccola pecca è che ho dovuto settarla per ottimizzare l’action, un po’ troppo alta per i miei gusti.
