Great shaker
sazar 23.11.2017
I've used it with acoustic guitar (my friend played it). The quality and sound are very good. I'm so glad to have it in my arsenal.

Due to the fact that this is my own first big shaker (I have just Meinl eggs) I can say that it's so cool and sounds pretty good. The sound is very bright and loud, I like it.

I've tried others previously others (smaller ones) but they sounded not so cool.

I use this bad boy in loud environment as a tiny addon during solos :-) Everyone hears it when shaked well. Not for kids - this is quite heavy piece of shake!

Shakin' all over

Whilst this shaker is good for a reasonably loud sound, I found its size a little too big and would have preferred a smaller one. Personally, I find that to get a good rhythm, I need to used both hands and I wanted to use just one. When you use just one hand, the 'beads' or 'rice' tend to go to one side or the other and weigh down the shaker at that end so it is quite difficult to get more improvised percussion. However, it does have a good sound when you use both hands, and would probably be good for a band - we are a duo.
