S
Millenium DM3 is a quality product!
SergeyLeps 27.08.2021
I bought an Avanton RED mono monitor. I was looking for different options for placing the monitor in front of me at the LOW height I need! This is very important in my studio.
I ended up buying this stand - and upgrading it myself.
I completely disassembled the stand.
I carefully sawed off the length I did not need.
As a result, I have a height of 10.5 centimeters from the table !!! This is very cool!
I drilled 6 thin holes and securely tightened the stand to the base with 6 bolts and nuts. Now it's MONOLITH!
No vibrations at all!
And, of course, I will separately note the presence of the Tilt Angle Control! This is what I needed!
Now I have completely "Custom Millenium DM3"
Incredible value for money!

If you know how to use a drill and a saw, then you can customize it for yourself with More efficiency!
Because the height of the stand - which comes with the sale - is very high for a "Mono" monitor. Because I have three monitors in front of my eyes. And I did not want to cover them with the Monitor!
Now I have what I needed.

Price-performance ratio is amazing!

Poor Stability, bad assembly
volant 18.08.2021
Putting the monitor stands together already resulted in a very shaky platform to put speakers on. I tightened the screws as much as they would go, it would not stop being shaky. The rubber surface contributes to the problem as speakers wobble around on the shaky stand and cause it to fall on the slightest of contacts. Returning these will also be a bit of a pain since the screws used to hold them together took some damage from having to be tightened as much as possible, so I think Ill have a lot of fun untightening these.

If you value your speakers, money and time, dont buy these. The DM1 are a lot more stable and will work much better despite lacking the angle adjustment.

Great for the price; perfect combo with ADAM T5Vs
chrisbistrishki 15.04.2022
These Millenium monitor stands are a real bang for your buck if you have a limited space that can't fit standalone floor stands and are looking to compromise with a pair of quality desk stands.

Features like:
- the angle adjustment,
- the cable clip that keeps the cables neatly managed
- the nice rubber pad surface (that comes off, btw)
- the rubber feet that go between the desk and the stand itself and help reduce vibrations and resonances to a great degree in my experience

are alone well worth the 10€ more when compared to similar products in this price category, for example the DM2s. I even got mine at a discount so that was a nice added bonus.

I use them with a pair of ADAM Audio T5V speakers and they get the job done. Keep in mind though, that the surface area is not really suited for monitors bigger than those. My ADAMS have 3-4 cm on the front and the back which aren't supported by the stand, but it's absolutely enough for stability and safety of the speakers in my opinion. Still, I wouldn't recommend going with monitors much bigger than that for those stands.

All in all, if you're looking for something robust and stable with a few added bells and whistles compared to similarly priced products of this class, I highly recommend these stands!

P.S. If you absolutely have to have your monitors on the desk, then go for it. However, if you have the space and capacity for standalone floor speakers that go behind your desk, I'd actually advise you to go that route as opposed to buying these Millenium stands. Floor speakers are always the ultimate way to go as far as home studios are concerned (especially mid to well acoustically treated ones) in terms of potential desk resonances, comb filters due to reflections bouncing directly off the desk and of course sweetspot positioning. ;)
