Specially developed for e-drums

The Millenium DM-30 Drum Monitor is a low-cost active monitor that specialises in the amplification of e-drum sounds. A space-saving, coaxial two-way system is housed in a solidly processed wooden housing, in which the tweeter is positioned in the middle above a 10-inch woofer. The two drivers are powered by a 30-watt power amplifier, giving the speaker more than enough volume for use in the living room or in a small to medium-sized rehearsal room. The Millenium DM-30 is an inexpensive, compact, and functional solution if you are looking for a way to play e-drums without having to use headphones.

Controls on the Millenium DM-30 electric Drum Monitor

Separately controllable inputs

The Millenium DM-30 Drum Monitor offers two connection options for an e-drum module and a second playback device such as a smartphone. Thanks to the separate volume controls, the signals from both inputs can be conveniently mixed. The resulting sum is sent through an internal three-band equaliser with controls for bass, middle, and treble frequencies, which can be used to further optimise the sound. All of the controls are comfortably placed on the top of the housing and are therefore easily accessible at all times. In addition, the Millenium DM-30 offers a power-saving standby function that automatically turns off the monitor after 20 minutes of inactivity.

For e-drummers of all skill levels

As a cost-effective personal monitor for electronic drums, the Millenium DM-30 drum monitor is suitable for all drummers who want to make their playing audible without any headphones and directly on the instrument – regardless of their skill level. Thanks to the space-saving design of the coaxial two-way system, the compact speaker can be placed relatively freely next to the drum stool or, if necessary, partially under the e-drum set. With its 30-watt power amplifier, the Millenium DM-30 is a good choice especially in smaller rooms and in situations where extremely high sound level reserves are not required.

About Millenium

Millenium is one of Thomann’s in-house brands and has been an integral part of the store’s range since 1995. More than 800 products – from drums and percussion through to accessories such as microphone stands, racks, and recording workstations – bear the Millenium label. These products are made by renowned companies who also manufacture products for other well-known brands. Since they are imported directly from the factory without any further distributors or sales companies, they can be sold at particularly attractive prices. Incidentally, one in every four Thomann customers has already purchased at least one Millenium product.

Perfect for the living room and the rehearsal room

The compact design of the Millenium DM-30 Drum Monitor makes it particularly well suited for home use, and it also cuts a fine figure in the rehearsal room. It can be used above all in small rooms and at moderate volume levels. In larger rooms or at higher volumes, however, we recommend combining it with a PA system. This way, the DM-30 acts as a personal monitor for the drummer, while its second input can be used for the monitor mix from a mixer, for example.

Great sound and volume
Ryan M. 09.12.2014
This speaker was a lot louder than I thought it was going to be and my children certainly take advantage of this in the house. The only down size is that the jack inputs are held in place by some plastic nuts that are very easy to come loose, in fact all three of the have come off and the jack inputs have fallen inside the speaker.

I am sure this probably wouldn't have happened if my kids hadn't actively been involved, however, something to be aware of.

Nice concept, but kicks don't have that "oomph"
Hillman 09.07.2019
Bought this for my son who play a Roland electronic drumkit. For the snare, hats and toms the sound is quite good, but I don't like the bass for kick drums. It is not deep enough to my liking. Yes there is an EQ but turning up the bass also affects the toms which become really loud when cranked up too much. Overall, good amp for practice but not that inspiring (to me at least ...)

Louder than I expected
andrew_gessien 06.04.2021
It's certainly loud enough to use as practice amp in a small room, gives the impression of being almost as loud as a real drumkit.
Auxiliary input is nice for playing along to a track. There is a volume control. Do you really need anything else?
