Massive Quality.

When i got a new, beautiful handmade bass with natural finish, i needed a strap that went well with that, so i decided on the Minotaur.

I could get a good picture of the quality of this strap even before putting it on my bass. The bass i bought it for is rather heavy and well balanced. It has Schaller Security locks, so when i took the strap out of the parcel i tried to fit the Schallers, but the holes in the strap were just a tiny bit too small. I had to work real hard with a sharp knife to widen them some and even then it was tough, hard work to get the locks to fit. Apart from the really decent looks (the pictures do this beautiful strap no justice) it is quite thick and soft. The inside is very smooth, so it tends to slide around on the shoulder - which is very well with a well balanced instrument and not so well if the head is too heavy.
I'm 100% satisfied and would buy this again.

I've had one of these straps, very old and worn, cracked at the bottom, on my first guitar, and found it very very comfortable in spite of the wear, so I decided to purchase another one so I can have both my guitars ready to go at a moment's notice with the same comfort, however while the old one matches the product pictures here, the new one is different. It has a different logo that is sunk in rather than protruding, the leather(?) on the back is far more textured, and seemingly thinner, the padding seems to be thicker and the strap weighs more. I would say both are about equally comfortable. The holes on the new strap are so tight they wrenched loose a strap pin, so I've decided to punish the new strap by subjecting it to the straplocks on my other guitar & using my older one on the guitar that doesn't have them. Time will tell how the new version of this strap holds up.

Always having used random, mediocre straps for my basses and guitars, this is a massive upgrade. The strap is REALLY wide, which helps spread out the weight of your instrument over a larger area. The padding feels good, and it all feels and looks very sturdy.
Honestly, with backpain of heavy instruments in mind, I'd love to see some sort of dual-band version as well.

This is a great belt. Comfortable for playing with my heavy boat-anker of a guitar. It will last for years. Only the holes are to small for strap locks.
You can get them in, but you will have to work for it.
