Great sound quality, lovely recorder to play
Jess HR 07.07.2020
I am a music student, focusing on performance at university. I have previously been playing on a pear wood recorder, however I much prefer the sound quality and sonority of sound on this recorder. I like this recorder, because the lower register sounds stronger and louder than other recorders I have played. It does feel heavier in the hands due to the type of wood, but I find that it is worth it for the clearer and more sprightly sound that this recorder produces. It has taken a while to break in the high notes, I find this particular recorder did not mix well with high Fs and F#s at first. This recorder does need to be broken in properly and carefully, so that it does not 'stuff up' as quickly.

Moeck 4307 Rottenburgh Alto
Kraso 19.10.2022
Moving from low quality recorders to Moeck was a needed step as a professional musician. The warm, balanced sound your instruments brings is remarkable. I'm planning to buy two more but this time instead of 442 I'd like to experience 415 sound and with no doubt I'm sure they will be if not better, at least the same great high quality professional instruments like those I own. Thank you for making possible the real experience of baroque sound in my recordings and performances.

Un peu déçu
Sylvain38 12.12.2013
