A whole rig in one compact pedal

The Mooer GE300 Lite is a more compact version of the larger GE300 model that combines a modelling amp, multi-effects processor, looper, and speaker cabinet simulations based on impulse responses (IR) in a single floorboard unit with a modern design for both stage and studio applications. What is more, the GE300 Lite also features an integrated USB audio interface for quick audio recordings, Mooer's intelligent Tone Capture function, which allows the tonal characteristics of an analogue amplifier to be captured and stored in a digital format, and a clear, intuitive layout for easy programming. All this is perfectly complemented by Mooer's proprietary editor software, which can be downloaded and installed on a computer free of charge. The scope of delivery also includes the required adapter for connecting the floorboard modeller to a power source.

Freely programmable

Thanks to its high-performance dual signal processors, the GE300 Lite allows a comprehensive effects chain to be freely configured and stored using no less than 108 amp models and 164 different effects. Users are also provided with 43 IR-based cab sims and additional slots for uploading third-party IRs. This compact floorboard modeller also includes a looper with a stereo recording capacity of 30 seconds, a convenient tuner, and comprehensive MIDI control options, and it can even be used as a USB audio interface with a direct connection to a computer. Of course, the GE300 Lite comes with all the required XLR outputs and an FX loop that allow it to be integrated into a large variety of setups, and is particularly easy to program and use thanks to its intuitive layout, large colour display, and ten colour-coded footswitches.

All tonal options catered for

The GE300 Lite is the ideal solution for guitarists who are looking for a compact all-in-one solution that is easy to use in the home studio, for recordings, in the rehearsal room, or on stage, and immediately delivers excellent results thanks to numerous amp models, a wide variety of effects, and a particularly user-friendly design. On top of that, users can digitally capture and use the sound of their favourite amp on stage thanks to the integrated Tone Capture function, which analyses the frequency response of an input signal (e.g. from the amp's preamp) and applies it to the modelled amp signal as a special EQ to authentically simulate the tonal characteristics of the original. But that is not all: Its XLR outputs, MIDI connectivity, two expression pedal connections, FX loop, and built-in looper make the GE300 Lite eminently suitable for a wide range of professional applications.

About Mooer

Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.

Everything on board

The Mooer GE300 Lite is a universal tool that can be used for a large variety of applications: Its wide sonic palette and integrated audio interface are ideal for songwriting at home, while the useful DI signal recording function allows a direct electric guitar signal to be recorded together with the overall sound output for re-amping later on. Further useful features such as an AUX input for connecting a playback device, an onboard drum machine, a metronome, and a dedicated headphone output ensure that the user can practise quietly and without distractions. But the GE300 Lite will also prove its versatility on stage: In addition to delivering an entire signal chain from amp to miked-up cab, it can also effortlessly take on individual sub-tasks as a standalone effects processor, flexible cab simulator, or simply for playing through a real amplifier. In the latter case, the expression pedal connections can also act as a channel switch for the connected amp.

Its a pretty solid fx processor

Im a little short words person so I will try to keep it simple: if you're looking for something not too bulky (like a Helix LT) but not too small (like an Line 6 HX Stomp) but still sounding too good enough, this processor is for you. It took me a few days to get used to the button interface but once you know how to use it, its amazing. I love it!

Conclusion ..... vous l'avez pas encore commandé ?

CONS:
Lediglich Kurzanleitung in Papierform, dafür 0 Sterne.
