The Mooer GTRS Guitars Standard 900 W, shown here in its Plum Purple finish, combines the classic design of an ST-style electric guitar with state-of-the-art sound design features to offer users a versatile all-rounder. Manufactured using classic woods for the body and the neck, and equipped with a flexible pickup system, the sophisticated Mooer GTRS Standard 900 W allows guitarists to not only create the typical ST-style guitar sound but also harness numerous digital tone shaping options thanks to the integrated GTRS processing system. This smart guitar is packed with more than 120 effects, eleven different guitar simulations, various practice and learning tools (including a looper and a drum machine), which can be controlled via Bluetooth using Mooer's GTRS App on every type of smartphone or tablet PC, and a transmitter for wireless transmission of the guitar sound for even greater freedom of movement without the restriction of cables. The corresponding receiver and an elegant gig bag, which allows the guitar and all of the accessories to be securely stowed away, are also included in the scope of delivery.
The GTRS 900 W PP combines the advantages of analogue and digital components and their individual sound generation and shaping techniques in an elegant alder body with a Plum Purple finish. The classic ST-style guitar sound is ensured by three pickups, which can be selected via a five-way selector and further adjusted using the volume and tone control knobs. The two GTRS SC-1N AlNiCo V single coil pickups in the middle and neck positions provide a typical ST-style tonal range that goes from crystal-clear through to a mild overdrive, while the GTRS HM-1B AlNiCo V bridge humbucker allows a fat sound to be created with added distortion. Its roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets make the GTRS Standard 900 W PP particularly comfortable to play, while the gold-plated hardware, which comprises a two-point tremolo and six modern-style machine heads, provide an eye-catching contrast against the purple body and headstock.
Its vast selection of analogue and digital sounds as well as numerous useful tools make the Mooer GTRS Standard 900 W PP eminently suitable for guitarists who are looking for versatile tonal options for a wide range of applications, from the rehearsal room to the stage, but also for players who want to take their skills to the next level. To this end, the GTRS Standard 900 W also puts a looper, a drum machine, and additional tools at the user's fingertips in the GTRS App – for endless hours of practising and jamming fun. The integrated rechargeable battery provides a reliable operating time of up to twelve hours with a conventional transmission setup and up to nine hours when using the integrated wireless transmission module, which is more than sufficient for all kinds of performances, even for extended live gigs or jam sessions in the park with headphones on. And if the GTRS Standard 900 W PP runs low on battery, it can of course always be played directly through an amp in the conventional analogue way using cables.
Mooer is based in the Chinese city of Shenzhen and has been making products for guitarists since 2010, which include compact single pedals through to multi-effects units and compact amplifiers. The company initially produced a range of mini pedals before making perhaps its most significant breakthrough in 2016 with the sophisticated Ocean Machine delay pedal, which was designed in collaboration with Devin Townsend. Mooer's product range now also includes solutions that feature amp modelling, IR-based speaker simulation, and matching equalisers, and the company's focus remains firmly on the use of digital technology.
Whether users want to practise or jam at home or create a perfectly matched sound for on-point use in recordings, band rehearsals, or live gigs. the Mooer GTRS Guitars Standard 900 W PP with high-quality dual single coils and a bridge humbucker reliably delivers the desired "analogue" sound and allows it to be further processed using the intelligent digital sound processing system, which provides access to numerous tone shaping and editing options as well as various useful tools without the need for integrating external effects. The GTRS Standard 900 W is also incredibly easy to use thanks to the Mooer GTRS App, which is available for both iOS and Android devices. The elegant gig bag, which is included in the scope of delivery, allows the guitar and all of the accessories, such as receiver, charging cable, or replacement strings, to be securely stowed away and transported from one gig to the next.
GTRS Intelligent Processing System
Thanks to its 126 effects, eleven guitar simulations, and numerous tools, the Mooer GTRS Intelligent Processing System opens up a whole world of tone modelling options for an extremely wide range of applications. All of the settings can be easily accessed and controlled via a smartphone or tablet PC using the GTRS App. Users are provided with a comprehensive range of effects, including chorus, delay, distortion, and various special FX, as well as authentic simulations of both acoustic and electric guitars alongside four presets and further useful functions that can be directly activated via the special GTRS control knob on the pickguard. The optional Mooer GWF4 pedal with four footswitches and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity offers optimum control of all of the GTRS system's functions to make life easier for the guitarist, particularly during live gigs. The USB-OTG port, which is located next to the jack socket on the guitar's bottom edge, enables direct recording on a mobile device and recharging of the internal battery.
