The innovative MusicNomad Humitar ONE combines two functions in a single unit: A hygrometer and a humidifier. Most importantly, the digital hygrometer provides reliable information about the relative air humidity and the ambient temperature (in Celsius or Fahrenheit readings). It automatically measures the air humidity every 20 seconds and instantly displays the current value alongside the minimum and maximum values measured over the entire monitoring period, allows individual minimum and maximum values to be set, and sounds an alarm when the thresholds are exceeded, thereby making a significant contribution to an instrument's longevity.

MusicNomad was founded by Rand Rognlien, a specialist for automotive paint care products and a passionate hobby musician. When he launched the MusicNomad web portal in 2008 to build a network for himself and his fellow musicians along the lines of Facebook, he needed a strategy to raise the necessary funds.
