These Big Beats are your classic rock sound, with new levels of warmth and complexity. They're extremely versatile too, with very controllable sound. I also have the the 22" which is perfect for everything, where I find the 19" to be too high pitched as a ride. But a beautiful crash it is

Als bespeler en fan van de 2002 serie lang getwijfeld over deze aanschaf. Toch gedaan en er geen moment spijt van gehad.
Wat een bekken!
De klank is iets donkerder dan van de 2002 serie en als crash komt de toon in de buurt van een 18" inch. Als ride iets minder aanwezig en beter te doseren dan een 20". Heeft precies de klank die ik wil hebben en sluit naadloos aan op mijn 2002 17" crash.
Hierdoor kan ik mijn 2002 18" crash en 2002 20" ride voortaan thuis laten.

heavy, big & warm sound

Paistes 2002 Big Beats are a loud, solid heavy crash/ride serie, that sounds warmer compared to the original 2002 series. Definitely recommended for drummers that play heavy rock music or metal. The thickness of this 19" cymbal is medium and hits really nice. The pitch of this 19" sounds high, like you normally would expect for a 17" of 18" cymbal. I'm really stoked about my Big Beat setup using the 15" hihat, 19" crashride & 21" crashride.
