Pirastro Evah Pirazzi Slap A String

An ideal string to solve the issue faced by roots bassists who want strong and defined pizz but also want a natural woody click when slapping. This A, and the similar E, provide tonally perfect match with plain gut or synthetic G and D, while also giving a subtle and balanced click when slapping.
Only downsides: The click is very slightly more clinical and metallic than plain gut, but significantly less so than other strings often used in this way. Also, the open E and A, on my bass, deliver slightly less fundamental thump than plain gut or some other wrapped synthetic strings. The overall effect of this is that the strings sound fractionally weaker and thinner.
These strings are most similar in tone and tension to Innovation Braided Solos when played at concert pitch.
They offer a fantastic compromise and alternative to plain gut or synthetic A and E, , trading a little overall depth and thump for a precision and articulation normally found only with steel strings.

Diese Saiten stellen einen tollen Kompromiss zu traditionellen Darmsaiten dar. Sie kommen dem typischen Naturdarm-Sound und Feel sehr nah mit dem großen Vorteil sehr viel stimmstabier zu sein. Streichen lassen sie sich auch recht gut. Im Gegensatz zur Herstellerbezeichnung sind diese Saiten also nicht nur zum Slappen sondern auch für alle Anhänger traditioneller, dunkler Pizzicato-Sounds geeignet. Ich habe die Slap E & A in Kombination mit Chorda D & G getestet und war sehr angetan von dieser Kombi. Nach ein paar Wochen habe ich sie jedoch wieder herunter genomman, da mir insbesondere die Slap E doch etwas zu diffus und manchmal schlecht zu orten war. Habe sie dann wieder gegen die vorher aufgezogenen Evah Pirazzi "weich" getauscht. Diese Kombi ist dann etwas mehr in Richtung "Charlie Haden" mit sustainigen Tiefen aber warm-punchigen hohen Saiten.

Le bémol : le prix.
j'ai franchi le cap par rapport à Nicolas Dubouchet,excellent contrebassiste sur Bordeaux.
en jazz comme en slap rockab' "un son pur"
tout dépend aussi de la contrebasse en sachant que les notes sont courtes, agréable au touché, en live le D & G (boyau nu) un accordage s'impose tout les deux / trois titres, le E & A "impec".
avec le temps elles sonnent mieux.avec un rythme de jeu tout les jours (répètes et concerts)
en prendre soin bien-sûr avec de l'huile Pirastro.
j'aimerais bien avoir un jeu d'avance,faite comme moi si vous n'avez pas les moyens pour le jeu complet, achetez le G & Le D (boyau) pour le test.
