Often struggling with the balance between arco and pizzicato, I finally found that on my bass D and G Obligatos work fine with both. While A & E are somehow a little floppy, the upper strings give optimal arco response even on upper registers and when soloing or walkink in pizzicato they respond readily and with a rich tone. Nicer arco response than Spiros, different but equally good pizzicato sound.

After looking at the opposition Dave Swift recommended these to me , excellent advice and excellent sound. Really responsive to play for both arco and pizz, true intonation and they sing

Excellente
